Karma and Samsara

Karma (Hindi: कर्मन्) refers to a spiritual concept, according to which every act - both physically and mentally - has a reaction follow, whether good or bad. If you act in harmony with Dharma, you’ll get good Karma. If you don’t act in harmony with Dharma, you’ll get bad Karma. These are not necessarily effective in the current life, but may happen in one of the next lives. In the Indian religions, Karma is closely connected with the belief in Samsara, the cycle of rebirth. In Hinduism and Buddhism means Karma, the result of any action, the effect of actions and thoughts in every respect, mostly on the human itself through a law of Karma. Not just bad Karma creates the cycle of rebirth, good, too. Ultimate goal is therefore to create no Karma at all, so Samsara ends. Samsara is the process of reincarnation, an endless cycle of reborn until the soul reached Nirvana.
