Krishna

Krishna (Hindu: कृष्ण) is a Hindu form of the divine and is often revered as the eighth avatar of Vishnu. For his followers he is the reincarnation of the Most High. The Scriptures describe Krishna body tone as compared to a fresh storm cloud. He always has a flute, the bansuri, with him and wears a peacock feather in his hair. Although he is not in the scientific sense regarded as historical, are Hindus believe that he actually lived.
The story of Krishna: Krishna belonged to the royal family of Mathura, and was the eighth son of Princess Devaki and her husband. King Kansa of Mathura, Devaki's cousin. To get to the throne, he had let his    father King Ugrasena thrown into prison. After the marriage of Devaki and Vasudeva, he predicted a vote; the eighth son of the couple would kill him. He then considers both trapped in the palace dungeon and killing the first six children immediately after birth. The seventh could be saved. Krishna was born as the eighth child. With his miraculous powers the guards fall asleep, the chains of the prison broke and the doors opened. Vasudeva fled with the newborn. To stop the prophecy, the king sent out a demon to kill the newborn. But Krishna survives and grows up as a shepherd among cow herders. Therefore, with this history, especially the worship of the cow is connected.
